ABOUT CYGMA AUDIO

Made for the person
behind the sound.

Cygma Audio is an independent audio-software project, exploring effects, synthesis, MIDI patterns and the tools around a session. We care about what a tool lets you hear, how clearly it responds, and how easily you can get back to making music.

Many parts.
One useful whole.

The Cygma mark draws on sigma: a symbol of summation. It is a fitting idea for audio work, where small decisions become a sound that is bigger than any one setting.

That idea runs through a growing collection. Tessel shapes audio. Volgate creates new sounds. Paly develops MIDI phrases for your chosen instrument. RushLink brings HeadRush equipment into the desktop workflow.

Each project has its own purpose. They share an interest in clear controls, useful feedback and enough freedom to follow an unexpected idea, whether you begin with a recording, a synth voice, a pattern or your equipment.

DIFFERENT TOOLS, A SHARED APPROACH

From the first phrase
to the finished sound.

The collection explores different parts of making music. Each project page explains its current stage and availability.

AUDIO EFFECTS

Tessel

Shape what you already have. Tessel brings effects, NAM captures and impulse responses into a modular workspace, with multiband and parallel routing for giving each part of a signal its own character.

SYNTHESIS

Volgate

Begin with a voice of your own. Volgate combines two synthesis layers with six expressive macros, keeping broad changes to tone, movement and space close while leaving deeper editing within reach.

MIDI & MUSICAL IDEAS

Paly

Find a phrase worth developing. Paly lets you explore rhythmic patterns, edit notes and map them to a scale, then send the resulting MIDI to an instrument in your DAW. You choose the sound that carries the idea.

COMPANION APP / FROM THE SAME MAKER

RushLink

Bring your equipment into the workspace. RushLink is an open-source desktop companion in open beta for the HeadRush Prime family, approaching the connection between musician, computer and equipment with the same attention to practical workflow.

HOW WE APPROACH THE WORK

Sound. Clarity.
Room to experiment.

Our priorities carry across the collection, even when the tools do different jobs.

01

Make the structure readable.

A signal path, a pair of synth layers or a grid of notes should help you understand what you are changing and where to go next.

02

Respect the session.

Resource use, recovery, clear status and useful documentation are part of the experience. The tools around an idea deserve as much care as the sound itself.

03

Make progress clear.

Open beta means public testing, with room to improve. Explain what is available and where work remains. Listen to real session notes and let useful feedback guide the next improvement.

BEHIND THE COLLECTION

Software, from
the whole-product view.

The maker behind Cygma Audio and RushLink works across software engineering, product design and the systems that make an application dependable. That perspective connects the sound engine, the interface, the documentation and the everyday details of using a tool.

These projects grow through practical problems, curiosity and conversations with the people using them. Share a workflow, ask about a product or get in touch about a collaboration.

INDEPENDENT, WITH INTENTION

Help shape what comes next.

Thoughtful feedback, real session notes and a little support all help us build better tools.
